Jetting will not change when you install this kit. Q: Is AI recommended for 2009 Bonnevilles with EFI? I am hearing conflicting advise on it. A: Our Low Profile Air Injection Removal Kit is a must have on either a Carb or EFI equipped Triumph Twin. They will fit the 09+ EFI Modern Classics and will have great benefit to you. When removing the AI system, you bike will respond with lower engine operation tempertures, cleaning up the infamous "popping" of deceleration. Q: I have a Bonneville EFI. I'm interested by "Low Profile Air Injection Removal Kit". What are the special instructions for the mounting? A: We currently do not have a published install guide to remove and install our AI Kit on the EFI models. We do however have an install guide for the Carb equipped Triumph Twins that we can send. There is not much of a difference between the two install procedures, just for the EFI there is not as much to plug and remove as opposed to the Carb models. Rather than leaving those expensive 02 sensor (2 ea) in the bike to have them destroyed by carbon build up, British Customs has developed a low pro?le stainless steel block off screw that installs in seconds. The screw allows the 02 sensor to be removed and the hole to be plugged, which makes wrapping your pipes a simple and smooth process. Each block off screw includes a copper crush washer, to ensure a proper seal and the low pro?le design of our block off screw virtually disappears when installed into the headers.
