Description

This Cam Shaft Gear Locking Pin tool with safety ring is custom made by Fast eddy Sports for use and is REQUIRED for doing a shim replacement on Triumph Air Cooled Parallel Twins

It is used in the Bonneville line, the America / Speedmaster, Scrambler and Thruxtons.

It secures the spring loaded backlash gear (thin gear) with the larger cam shaft gear. Without securing with a 6mm / 4mm stepped pin, spring tension will be lost and you will require the more expensive Triumph tool to realign the two gears properly. Trust me, this is a bear to do without the tool!

Choice of single or a pair. A pair is only needed if removing both cams at the same time for more extensive valve work than replacing just the shims.
